Pragaman Hospital respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how you can control it, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

When you request an appointment on this website, we collect:

• Patient name
• Mobile number
• The department you choose
• Your preferred date of visit
• Your email address, only if you choose to give it

We do not ask for medical reports, diagnosis details, Aadhaar, or payment information on this website. Please do not send such details through the booking form.

Why we use it

• To call you back and schedule your appointment.
• To email you a confirmation of your request, if you gave your email address.
• To contact you about that appointment, for example if the doctor's timing changes.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Only authorised hospital staff who handle appointments can see your request. To run this website, your request is passed through trusted service providers that host the website, store the data, and deliver the email and WhatsApp notifications to our staff. These providers may store data on secure servers outside India and are not allowed to use it for any other purpose.

How long we keep it

We keep appointment requests only as long as needed to handle your appointment and maintain hospital records, or as required by law. After that, they are deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct or update it
• Delete it, when it is no longer needed for your treatment or by law
• Withdraw your consent for us to contact you

You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
